Experience: Erin is a graduate of the “famed” High School of Performing Arts and has a B.A. in education from Queens College. She is a certified NYS teacher and holds a masters degree in education from C.W. Post. Erin has studied with Deborah Hahn, Phil Black, Alan Onickel, Jo Jo Smith,and Luigi. She has danced on HBO videos, with Ben Vereen, & received a scholarship with Nikolais Louis Dance Co.
Before starting Variations, Erin ran her own Children’s entertainment company-Sparkles Entertainment. Erin, formerly known as “Sparkles the Clown” even had her own cable show.
Erin initiated a cultural exchange dance program with Siena, Italy. She and four other teachers from Variations taught Master Classes and performed in a 16th century theater. Recently, Erin performed at Lincoln Center with Mad Cap Dance in When Paths Collide.
Erin has recently created and directed a new dance program at Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville.Her goal is to further the arts on Long Island.
Erin’s Young Dancer’s Program focuses on ballet and jazz movement skills taught creatively through imagination and dramatic play.
